Rodarte Shoes at NYFW Spring 2016

The Rodarte shoes worn with the SS16 collection at New York Fashion week on Tuesday morning were glistening with gold and silver stripes in embossed leather suede. These elements though did not overshadow the romantic  black and white lace garments

LK BENNETT London: Serious Shoes

Serious shoes are what i like to call the LK Bennett Harper. While Kate Middleton’s devotion to the sledge pump is quite the well known style for the British brand, I found the embedded platform of the Harper to be alluring and simply a no nonsense heel! It means business! A power shoe with utmost versatility. I have worn them quite a bit over the past month or so and

“Rancher” Boots aside sculptor Eduardo Garza’s 18K gold skull  I was delighted to attend designer, Ivy Kirzhner’s AW13 footwear presentation at the AFA Gallery last week. It was a pleasure to meet Ivy as she radiated a positive energy and was glad to answer any questions about materials and her design process. Ivy Kirzhner’s second collection inspired by the Wild Wild West with a “deco western theme” displayed her artistic designs

This past Monday I had a chance to visit the ALDO40 EXPO in Montreal. Here are some images I captured from the gallery at the pop up exhibit representing the story of ALDO’s 40 years; displaying cultural inspiration and creativity that have and continue to influence the innovation of the brand.

Springtime Suede and Vintage Inspired Lace

Wearing a Diane von Furstenburg lace zarita dress in navy paired with Claudia Ciuti jaguar suede pumps in a beige hue and vintage 1950s Stetson fedora. Truth be told, I bought these shoes two months ago and have been wearing them recently whether during the day with a little black dress, or paired with skinny jeans if weather permits! (Yes. that is the only downside.) Suede protector to be applied

New Nikes! Running shoes

Running shoes are ultimately the most important shoes in my closet. Although I only use them to run and well they never end up in the closet because I wear them often! These are my new Nike Air Pegasus 28 with bright pink soles. The color scheme is out of the ordinary for my style but it is growing on me. I think I like them better than the blue

Royally Beautiful in Blue Heels

Miu Miu suede platform sandals Spring is here and it’s time to take out those heels that have been hiding in your closet but also try something new! This time of year can represent a breathe of fresh air.  I spend a good part of the winter in my black leather boots and tights (which I am sure many other ladies can relate with) so the gradually warmer air gets
