PUT A BOW ON IT! - Romantic Sophistication

Ohhhh Valentino! I am deeply in LOVE......again.

I have seen so many gorgeous heels adorned with bowties in various fabrics, designs and textures. Each variation in the 'several' heels I decided to share are beautiful on their own. 

On the left, the Valentino Lace d'Orsay pump in delicate lace. The lace here is a demonstration of the feminine but sexy effect it can provide while ofcourse always adding an especially romantic feeling.  The Feather Trim Slingback Sandal  in black suede is a more unique look and part of Valentino's Cruise 2010 collection.  Slightly lower at 3' 1/2" inches, the feathers provide an element of flair and sophistication.  Both found at nordstrom.com.

Christian Louboutins satin d'Orsay peep toes pumps are bold and feminine with large bows. Classy and elegant for any occasion.  Found at foodcandyshoes.com.

Nina ankle strap pumps with a scruched oversize bow are a great heel to wear this holiday season. Red I feel is most suiting at the moment but available in many colors as well.  With a lightly padded footbed and embedded platform, I would be dancing! (well I would anyway.........) The Electra can be found for under $100 at ninashoes.com and zappos.com. 

Stuart Weitzman's Jumbo bowtie sling back peep toes in a deep red are meant for a celebration! A favorite designer of mine whose heel are timeless over and over.  At bloomingdales.com.

Ok.... I had too much fun with this post and this last heel was my personal favorite. DOLCE & GABBANA Palais Royal patent leather pumps in nude with a black lace bow at the heel are FABULOUS! I seem to be loving french inpsired designs with romantic sex appeal and when I saw these I could not help but want to put these on with a black satin skirt and lace top.  If only that special someone were to see me in these D&Gs I think I would not be able to stop smiling.  Pretty and feminine.... the Palais pump is just darling. Hmmmm I think I should add these to my Christmas wish list! (well it is a 'wish' list!)

Black Suede Sandals - Strut those Soles polished in red red wine!

I spotted this Cynthia Vincent peep toe sandal a week or two ago after being lured toward the shoe section in Bloomingdales while I of course was there for one thing and one thing only and was urged to write down the details so I could share with all the lovely ladies who I believe would adore them as much as I did. The strappy design and smooth angle of the 4 1/2 inch heel is elegant while the black suede makes this a great evening heel in the winter for those jolly gatherings. I say that they are a perfect reason to show off those gorgeous toes polished in Bordeaux or berry hard polish (two of my favorite colors). Red red wine (having some smooth syrah right now) and red red toes are just perfect at this time of year. Of course during these chilly days, only when wearing a lovely suede sandal such as these feminine and sexy Cynthia Vincents is this possible. (Ok well maybe if you live in a warm place or are going to be in the dessert at Christmas like me but otherwise lets stay inside and party, enjoy each other's company, and eat chocolate truffles infused with champagne in these fabulous suede sandals which can be found at RevolveClothing.com.

Fierce, Feminine, Swarovski Embellished - Be BOLD!

At the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show models including Heidi Klum and Doutzen Kroes looked amazing in the gorgeous Guiseppe Zanotti heels in various styles to complement their beautiful lingerie designed to represent a magical journey and enchanted forest theme.  The swarovski embellished jagged edge cutout Guiseppe Zanottis in black satin were worn by Doutzen Kroes in fiery red and surely exude an enchanted feeling of sexy feminine prowess. I must say that at 4 1/2 inches and the glamorous touch of Swarovski crystals, wearing this heel would emit a surge of energy to strut those fabulous soles on the catwalk or any evening of splendor.   They almost make me think Superwoman because of the transformative effect I can imagine walking in such gems. In fact for my Saturday workout I think I might dig out that Superwoman T-shirt which I love to wear.  Be BOLD! Make a statement in a Giusepe Zanotti heel like no other.   

Gem Embellished Pumps for that Fabulous Evening!

Aren't these Tory Burch gem embellished sandals just gorgeous..!?  Those Giuseppe Zanotti Jeweled high heeled sandals below, while quite a fantasy heel I'll admit are making me week in the knees.  The only reason I could imagine wanting to take them off are those memories of walking a mere block or two in 15 degree weather in NYC on NYE which can have those toes yearning to get back inside after a long night.  I must say that as New Year's Eve is approaching, it is not my favorite evening. So much drama and anticipation.  Althought the thought of possibly sliding my soles into such fabulously fun and glamorous heels makes me envision thoughts of a grand celebration to welcome 2010.  I don't even think I would be bothered if I was with that desire of my affection or not if standing tall and fierce in a sparkling high heel sandal like the Iona Pump or Jeweled High Heel Zanottis above.  (Okay... maybe I would be just a tad but these sure would help without a doubt. ) These would look amazing worn with your festive attire in any color and wonderful paired with sequins which often add such emanance and flair to your look on an evening of celebration and cheer. 

Another beautiful satin sandal adorned with gems flowing down the front, the Bourne Misha T-Strap is surely a headturner. With a zip up back to easily slip these on and a 3 and 1/2 inch narrow heel, this sandal will surely add that lift and sparkle to your evening to make you feel like one fabulous woman with style.  Also available in rose satin, the Misha can be found at nordstrom.com and at  the bournecollection.com.  I must add that I had not heard of this UK based designer until I came across this shoe and could not help to browse more at the luxurious heels and accessories.  I will definitely be delving further to find which other stores here in the US carry this lovely designer. 

Once again, I do adore the ruffle pump (remember those bold, one of a kind, sexy, flirtatious T-strap Valentinos I posted back in October ) and these Nina T-Strap peep toe pumps are are a lovely shoe for New Years Eve or any upcoming festive occasion.  I found these at piperlime.com but they can also be found in gorgeous deep red (might I add Christmas RED) at macys.com.  The Nina Elga evening pump is a fabulous, femine and sexy heel for $89. 

Rocker Chic Gold Buckle Bootie

Brrrrr.... Warm, Fuzzy and Sexy Boots

These Pajar black fur boots might be just what we need to keep those toes warm in style this winter. The onset of this cold weather has left my eyes wide open and on the prowl to spot a cozy but sexy, cold weather boot. While stopping into Bloomingdales nearby to simply grab that MAC hot tahiti lipstick which I have been scraping out of the tube, I found myself waltzing to the shoe section which was quite the frenzy.  (online shopping sure is great!)  These Pajar boots were the most unique and fun in my mind.  While UGGS are great and I am wearing my one precious brown suede leather lace ups right now, the Davos fur boot is not only covered in goat fur but also has over a 2 inch heel with leather lace, silver hardware and the oh so lovely shearling lining.  This fabulous boot can also be found at footnotesonline. 

Another Pajar boot, the Sasha, in black suede with mink shearling lining and Ghillie lace is a great twist on the traditional fuzzy winter boot.  A 3 inch chunky heel adds the edginess to an otherwise casual look.  Oh and the Sasha is on sale. That is fabuluos for sure.  Pajar being a French Canadian brand, I think might be able to trust their expertise on keeping warm!  Now I think its a great night to make some hot chocolate on the stove.

Ruffle Pumps - So Pretty and SEXY for sure!!

Ruffle pumps, such as this Badgley Mischka heel above are a truly lovely style seen a lot this winter. Whether placed on the toe, such as the deep eggplant BCBGMaxAzria Lark I featured last week, or along the heel on these gorgeous Badgley Mischkas, the ruffle adds a feminine and pretty feel to a smooth, classic heel.  With a fine leather sole and upper and fabric detail, at 4 1/4 inches, the Tai is not only pretty but SEXY for sure!! Perfect for that anticipated date whether already planned or to just simply be ready as who knows what tomorrow will bring. My thought is that this heel will be stylish for years to come and will hold memories.
