Feeling a Little Adventurous!

Jimmy Choo platform sandals are eye catching for sure. Multi strap embossed leather with a peep toe and stilletto heel. I must say that Nars Jungle Red polish would look divine and classy with these on. Finding myself in the adventurous and daring state of mind, seeking heels with a bold presence and unique appeal, I came across some styles sure to be a head turner.

Report Signature booties are glamorous and edgy with scattered jewels and a peep toe. I must admit, I am not so crazy about many of the open toed booties out there but this heel is svelte and sexy. Continuing to love the hidden platform, at 4 inches and with leather lining and sole, the Bowry bootie, found at nordstrom.com is a favorite of mine. Feeling it is a great black book to transition into spring.

Givenchy leather pumps are simply gorgeous in a bold but suttle manner. The silk over lace straps with an exposed zipper provide a soft touch for a an original look. I’m not sure I would want to take these off…………..

Azzedine Alaia cut outs boots are another unique heel with multi strap leather and a wider heel. These are quite out of the box for me but I find something enticing about them.

Fergie slingback peep toe sandals are fun and trendy. I particularly love the touch of aqua over embossed leather cutout straps.

Awaken our Soles! Vibrant….Flirtatious…Looking forward to Spring.

Manolo Blahnik pointed toes pumps shown above in a beautiful shade of red suede are the quintessential example of a heel which will add an element of confidence and allure to any woman’s look. Sliding this heel on for an evening or day would without a doubt have me smiling and envisioning anything that my heart desires. The fine leather sole and clear attention to detail are eminent as one can appreciate these Manolos in any color as well! Romantic…..Sexy…..Eye Catching…..Soft….Sensual….Ok! I’ll stop.

The awakening and flirtatious air associated with Spring brings to mind pumps and sandals in vibrant hues. Corals and soft reds with orange undertones are sure to be popular this spring and summer.

Banana Republic suede round toe pumps in wild berry are a great heel for winter into spring. Sophisticated and sexy! A slightly less narrow heel and a rounded toe, with a hidden platform, are fun and versatile. The ‘Gaby’ is a great find I must say.

Feeling a bit more adventurious? REPORT Signature gold studded sandals in coral are a bold heel. Gladiator inspired with a stiletto heel, platform leather sole and adjustable straps. Stand tall with a warrior stance and awaken your soles in these daring but lovely sandals!

Gem Embellished Pumps for that Fabulous Evening!

Aren’t these Tory Burch gem embellished sandals just gorgeous..!? Those Giuseppe Zanotti Jeweled high heeled sandals below, while quite a fantasy heel I’ll admit are making me week in the knees. The only reason I could imagine wanting to take them off are those memories of walking a mere block or two in 15 degree weather in NYC on NYE which can have those toes yearning to get back inside after a long night. I must say that as New Year’s Eve is approaching, it is not my favorite evening. So much drama and anticipation. Althought the thought of possibly sliding my soles into such fabulously fun and glamorous heels makes me envision thoughts of a grand celebration to welcome 2010. I don’t even think I would be bothered if I was with that desire of my affection or not if standing tall and fierce in a sparkling high heel sandal like the Iona Pump or Jeweled High Heel Zanottis above. (Okay… maybe I would be just a tad but these sure would help without a doubt. ) These would look amazing worn with your festive attire in any color and wonderful paired with sequins which often add such emanance and flair to your look on an evening of celebration and cheer.

Another beautiful satin sandal adorned with gems flowing down the front, the Bourne Misha T-Strap is surely a headturner. With a zip up back to easily slip these on and a 3 and 1/2 inch narrow heel, this sandal will surely add that lift and sparkle to your evening to make you feel like one fabulous woman with style. Also available in rose satin, the Misha can be found at nordstrom.com and at the bournecollection.com. I must add that I had not heard of this UK based designer until I came across this shoe and could not help to browse more at the luxurious heels and accessories. I will definitely be delving further to find which other stores here in the US carry this lovely designer.

Once again, I do adore the ruffle pump (remember those bold, one of a kind, sexy, flirtatious T-strap Valentinos I posted back in October ) and these Nina T-Strap peep toe pumps are are a lovely shoe for New Years Eve or any upcoming festive occasion. I found these at piperlime.com but they can also be found in gorgeous deep red (might I add Christmas RED) at macys.com. The Nina Elga evening pump is a fabulous, femine and sexy heel for $89.

Ruffle Pumps – So Pretty and SEXY for sure!!

Ruffle pumps, such as this Badgley Mischka heel above are a truly lovely style seen a lot this winter. Whether placed on the toe, such as the deep eggplant BCBGMaxAzria Lark I featured last week, or along the heel on these gorgeous Badgley Mischkas, the ruffle adds a feminine and pretty feel to a smooth, classic heel. With a fine leather sole and upper and fabric detail, at 4 1/4 inches, the Tai is not only pretty but SEXY for sure!! Perfect for that anticipated date whether already planned or to just simply be ready as who knows what tomorrow will bring. My thought is that this heel will be stylish for years to come and will hold memories.

Isaac Mizrahi Live Launch Event for QVC

On Wednesday night I was honored to attend the launch event for Isaac Mizrahi Live as a guest blogger for The Well Heeled Society. Isaac Mizrahi Live will be airing on QVC starting Dec 4th. His new line will include not only clothes and shoes but food such as the delicious cheescakes he is designing. He was making me hungry describing the desserts he so loves. I had the chance to ask him a few questions and was inspired by his energy and reaching out to his audience. When asked what his definition of a well-heeled woman is, he stated that “A confident woman is a woman who knows how to look in the mirror properly! To be herself.” More or less, we do not need to try to look like anyone else but to find that confidence in ourselves. So true. Let’s listen to him!

Also, I must add, it is quite grand that the Yankees won the world series on the same night as his launch party. Check out his video blog at Isaac Mizrahi NY :)!

BCBGMaxAzria – Summer and into Fall with Class

Similar to Dior’s strappy peep toe these slingback peep toes by BCBGMaxAzria are a great patent leather heel to transition from summer to fall. BCBGMaxAzria’s chic style has always been on my radar whether scouring the clearance items each season growing up or enjoying my time as a stylist in Scottsdale Fashion Square during college. With heels of stature and delicate crocheted and chiffon tops that feel leave you feeling beautiful, Max rarely diappoints. I was compelled to post these after briefly perusing the Fall 2009 lookbook and noting the significance and effortless style of the black peep toe above in genuine imported leather at an albeit moderate but not less break the bank price point, especially for a shoe that will be worn over and over again. And again. Yes, I cannot possibly adore the peep toe anymore. It seems I find it my duty to share when I spot a wonderful pair.
