Ankle boots with a touch of gold or more precisely, gold buckle boots seem to add just the right amount of character with a classic Ferragamo or those Choos with a sense of biker chic. I wear the boots above, with just about everything recently.  They work well with any dress in the winter for a slightly more playful look than wearing knee high or OTK boots. Those fur lined boots might need to come out soon though. Feeling the frigid air for sure as I fall asleep shortly wrapped up like a marsh-mellow.  (The photo above was about a month ago at Soho Grand.) Obviously I have obsession with the sofa’s there! This photo just feels reminiscent of the warm and maybe relaxing atmosphere with a positive energy. Something nostalgic about the setting that puts you at ease.

On a hunt to curate a mix of gold buckle boots whether high heels or timeless riding boots, perhaps I got a little carried away. (there is a part 2!)

I’d say my favorite are either the classic Fratelli Rosetti riding boots or the Jimmy Choo biker style boot with a bold heel!
