Oxford booties are a classic Autumn shoe to switch up your look during the day! A true investment shoe! I just happened to spot this cognac boot across from Lincoln Center on Thursday at New York Look and had to share the love! This Bo Botte lace up boot is made of top quality leather and would just get better over time. Detailed cut out stitching and clean lines represent an attention to quality. Whether a bootie or OTK boot laces add a sense of character.
The designer of these boots sounded familiar and after refreshing my memory I remembered that I actually met the Bo a few years back while finding my way upstairs to the boots section at Hides In Shape on Madison Avenue. The custom made riding boots (perfect for the country or chic in the city as well) in shiny rich hues had me mesmerized and remembering what is so nice about cooler days! He was sure to let me know that if my color and style was not present in my size, they could be made to order in Marseilles, France. Each boot is handmade of calf leather with goat skin lining. Love the attention to quality materials and appreciation for each shoe that is meant to be cherished and kept for years and years.
