Serious shoes are what i like to call the LK Bennett Harper. While Kate Middleton’s devotion to the sledge pump is quite the well known style for the British brand, I found the embedded platform of the Harper to be alluring and simply a no nonsense heel! It means business! A power shoe with utmost versatility. I have worn them quite a bit over the past month or so and hence the Instagram posts noting I have my serious shoes on! These pumps are easy to walk in and are the leather is maleable and soft to mold to your feet throughout wear.

I felt that as we should treat our shoes well, it is essential to emphasize getting your soles covered with vibram before wearing.  Nude to match the leather on this shoes is my preference. However, you can choose black or whichever color the shoe repair man has in stock. Not only does it protect your shoe but you will have more grip when walking!

While a sexy and versatile shoe, these do not need to be worn for business or the office but look great with a slim pant as well to make any look appear more sophisticated or eye catching throughout the year.  I will post some photos wearing my Harper’s in my post about my somewhat spontaneous visit to Paris.
